MOTHER

Mother,
as long as I remember
you stayed up all night
making sure if am all right
just like a doctor.

As long as I remember
you lacked of rest
making sure I reached classes on time
just like a chauffeur.

As long as I remember
you were ailing
but you still cooked for us
just like a gourmet chef.

For everything I am today
it was all love
your inexhaustible love.
